180°Mandrel Bends are made from polished premium grade 304 stainless steel tubing using a CNC mandrel bender and custom mandrel dies to provide a good bend with no wrinkles or scratches, the ends are laser cut and the bends are then finely polished with 180 grit Finally ultrasonically cleaned.
304-grade stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion, ensuring long-lasting performance, and is easily welded to many other parts with common welding tools, although MIg or TIG welding is recommended for good results.
Stainless Steel LR (Long Radius) Bends have a Center-to-Face dimension of 1.5 X diameter. They are a common type of elbow and are used when space is available and flow is more critical.
Stainless steel 180°long radius pipe bends are used in many applications such as oil refineries, wastewater management systems, food processing industry, petrochemical industry, and especially in pneumatic conveying systems.
