Threaded nipples are short lengths of pipe with male threads at both ends, used to connect two female threaded fittings or other equipment with female Threads. Usually, they are constructed from stainless steel 304, also available in stainless steel 316.
Stainless steel threaded nipples are usually available in either internal or external threads and are used with other pipes or fittings with matching threads. Installation is relatively easy, they can usually be connected by turning and tightening the threads.
